On a distant shore

There is a lighthouse shining

And I can see it in my mind

And one day I want to go

To that lighthouse

And see it shining in the night

A flashing beacon will shine

Flashing beacon does shine

A vision came to me

Of crashing waves on jagged stone

And the lighthouse did not mind

Yes the lighthouse still shines

One day I’ll be free

Free to smell the ocean air

See the waves in the light

Standing tall above the earth

Shining out on endless sea

Wish it would shine for me

And it will shine for me

Yes I can see that tower

And feel the unique power

Mist and light with jagged stone

Walking on those jagged stones
